Also, thr IRT standard design had different electrical/mechanical features, although they looked alike. The 1910-11 Headleys were Hi-Voltage, the Flivvers were a combination of Hi/Lo-voltage(Hi-V brakes and controller with Lo-voltage funtioning.) The Steinways had different gearing neccessary for climbing the steep grade of the Steinway tunnels. So the new NTT's are not the first look alike cars with different mechanical/electrical symtems in place. What do you think, Randyo |
