No argument there ... but I think my point is getting missed here. CBE as a divider ended up making it *OK* for the south to deteriorate further. It established a border. And it seems as though the city went along with that too ... preserve the northern territories at the expense of the southern territories. THAT was my point about "psychological" ... it established an official border. :( |
