I think this subthread needs to move over to OT given that it's moved past the trains of the time. But yes, the 80's were an acceleration of deterioration and sadly guided by the politics of the time. But that'd be way off course for the main board. Fortunately by the 90's, some wisdom started coming into play which finally allowed rebuilding. |
