IMO subways and *railroads* would benefit from a barrier fare control system like the one I described above, while LRTs are better served with PoPWell WADR, your opinion goes against reality. Nothing is served at all with POP, except for farebeaters that organize either online or via the phone. And how are you going to implement barrier control on FRA railroads that are at grade, especially where the station platforms start at grade crossings?
