A few years ago, I was standing at the south end of the Chambers Street BMT stop and was looking into the stub end tunnel. I saw a yellow bulb in the distance near the tall ceiling in the distance, illuminating some kind of partially built overpass. I posted a question on SubChat as to what that was and someone answered that it was the approach to the Brooklyn Bridge that was never completed. |
