LOL...!I wonder why there were so many vacant lots in that area..as a kid..untill my dad and grandfather told me.. It would have been even worse for Bushwick if the Expressway was bulldozed through...though the nab was ripped out from under us anyway in the 70'S..BLOCKS AND BLOCKS of vaccant houses..mountains of rubble North Brooklyn was crap in those days..and just recently [thank God] is making a full recovery..too bad at the price of those already living there. |
