Eh, I read about apartments raising their rent by hundreds of dollars per year all the time. This is 7 years old.Secondly, he makes a point. We all have to go into "urban" communities to "give back". But no one ever helps us. You're in it alone. |

I haven't really paid attention to the law(time is money); but from my corporate apartment experiences, "renovations" are a rip off.My current place all they did was fix up the office for the incompetents there. But more frequently, I can go on a website and see multiple complexes with renovated and unrenovated units. That means they put in new fancy appliances. When I look at the differential in the rent, I can buy 3 sets of those appliances in the year. Rip-off. In some countries, you bring your own appliances. I wish we did that here. There's two sides to everything, but I'll always choose the non-"renovated". Not worth giving the landlard 3 grand for 800 dollars in appliances. |
