I support just four:Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now. [This I hold to be fundamental to growth. It's how they've been doing it in East Asia.] One I hold to be unnecessary, but not particularly bad:
A further four, I agree with at least part of the ends, but not the means:
The remaining four look like an unmitigated recipe for economic disaster:

I support seven of them actually.#1,2,4,5,6,10,13. #3 doesn't work. #7 is feel-good nonsense. Current law already does a lot of that and decommissioning nuclear power plants defeats the purpose of #5. Their price tag is unaffordable. #8 is redundant with the Civil Rights Act and other similiar legislation and would only be needed if a reactionary Supreme Court were to start striking them down. #9 is pure lunacy. #11 is what President Hoover's people wanted and is more lunacy. #12 is not feasible. Strong regulation and oversight is needed instead |
