Their claim was that ethanol is a solvent and would dissolve fuel line deposits and clog up your fuel filter and carburetor jets. This was noticed mostly in high performance engines as in 350, 383,396 & 427 CI displacements

But then again, other components of gasoline, particularly hexane, toluene, and many others, are solvents too; it depends on what compounds you want to dissolve. The thing about ethanol is the lower BTU compared to larger-molecule hydrocarbons, as well as having to use different kinds of material in engine gaskets that won't be dissolved by ethanol. Just for reference, gasoline generally has hydrocarbon compounds that range between four carbons (butane, isobutane, cyclobutane) and twelve carbons. Also, ethanol was looked at as an antiknock agent over 120 years ago.

They have a "Trump" 9MM model, their best-seller, that Trump posed with and stated he wanted to buy. The lib was vexxed over this, to say the least, and hopes the Georgia judge puts him in jail awaiting trial.

To add insult to injury, after Confirming that Trump Did BUY THE GLOCK, TWICE.. The same individual came back on line and said he Didn't purchase the gun. Obviously a ploy, as to give both Trump and the SC Attorney General off the hook for Committing a criminal act, and the AG for participating in one. The gaslightING is incredible.

Proper maintenance, TLC, will take care of all issues. We were taught to treat our weapon as "the love of our life ". Take care of Her, and she will take care of You. Never forgot it, and still maintain her this very day. Clean, disassemble, clean, oil a bit, reassemble, safety check.. It's just that simple.

The problem that I personally have with Glocks is that of all the aforementioned pistols, the Glock is the first to have issues, as rare as they are. Also, lots of LEOs in the NYC area are ill-versed on their firearms. They only know what was taught to them while in training, and that's it. There are other agencies that make sure that their members know their firearms inside and out, and are proficient in them.

Yes, you can have idiots who don't take care of their firearns,no matter what make and model, you can expect that from them, even revolvers, which are basically idiotproof.
