Most of the supply chain issues are due to other countries' approaches to covid. In the US, truckers never stopped driving and longshoremen never stopped unloading, so you can't blame the supply chain issues on US covid policies, whether you approve of them or not.

US factories also only rarely stopped producing, and when they did it was in selected cases in the early months with many workers seriously sick.

Quite possibly. The US economy had less of a drop and more of a rebound than many other countries.

Wrong. We have a good number of things that have been broken and need to be remedied. From the way it's looking, it won't be until 2025 before they are. We still need to get through the next 2 years, and expectantly get to work again on them, hoping there isn't more damage ahead short-term or a result of the future election.

If he dosent win the primary & they turn to DeSantis, DeSantis will beat Biden (if he runs that is) easily. Republican Trump haters and fence sitters will go for DeSantis , figuring a Trump administration without Trump will be better than what we got with Biden.

You said that Trump would easily win reëlection. It didn’t happen.

The Democrats will just tar him as a less petulant Trump, and Gen Z will come out in full force for Biden. DeSantis’s best chance is through another popular vote loss, but he could still win that too.

That having been said, I’d still rather that DeSantis be the nominee. A Trump nomination, though basically guaranteeing a Democratic victory, is too dangerous.

Gen Z went democratic on the promise of a forgiven collage debt. That fell thru. Talk about buying votes. Biden will have to try and pull another rabbit out of the hat to buy Gen Z votes once again.
If they hate Trump that much and have doubts about Bidens cognitive function, they might just stay home.

A victory by one party or the other is never guaranteed.

If Trump is nominated the Democrat would be favored, but some kind of October surprise could happen that could destroy the Democrats' campaign.

Suppose for example it comes out in October that the winner of the Democratic primary is charged by multiple women of having raped them? That's highly unlikely but not impossible.
