There is no time for major TV news to report on important issues like the truckers caravan because they are spending too much time reporting "news" such as happy parents are now that they will soon be able to get their three year olds vaccinated. If you are pro vaccination or against it, it is still not news how you think people feel about something. |

It certainly is even if everyone agrees. Everyone agreeing on someone's opinion is still not news. And not all opinions given are not ones that everyone can agree on. Act 77 is being reviewed for constitutionality by SCOPA. The lower court, with a Republican majority, ruled against it, and the PA State Department appealed.Interestingly, 11 or the 14 Republican lawmakers who brought this lawsuit actually voted FOR Act 77 in 2019. This law wasn't a problem for them until Trump lost in 2020. Act 77 allowed no-excuse mail-in voting statewide. |

TV news only has less than 30 mins to report news (maybe 60 in some cases, I rarely watch it). Of course it's not going to cover everything that everyone considers important. News that parents can get their kids vaccinated against COVID is actually big news that people need to know. If you want to see if the story was covered at all, check a big newspaper. Apparently, the NYTimes covered it, since they have a lot more pages for news. |

My problem wasn’t the story about notifying parents they soon will be able to get their kids vaccinated. The problem was how it was presented, saying that parents were happy to hear that news. Peoples feelings are irrelevant to the story. A more important point that of course was not mentioned is that the fatality rate for those now able to be vaccinated is .0001 percent, which raises the question if the vaccine for this age group is necessary or even wise since it is experimental with long term effects not known. That would of course presented both sides of the story which is no longer done. That is my point. |

Roughly 50 million young children (at most). .0001% x 50 million = 50. So, Dr. Bus, you have evidence that if all 50 million of our youngest children contracted covid (including the Delta starain, which is still around), only 50 would die? I think Fox News would be interested in your backup evidence. |

The parents reactions are not unrelated to the story. If a significant number of parents were unhappy about it, that would get reported too. And besides the fatality rate, there is also the possibility of long COVID. Lastly, the vaccine isn't that experimental, there are reasons why it took this long for it to get approved for kids. |
