But that's pretty much my point. Sometimes you don't know if they're really assholes unless you stop them. Comes down to "probable asshole" in order to pick the one you're going to try. (grin)

Most troopers would pull over both at the same time, and ticket both of them. THIW. It happens ALL the time.

What if the cop was black?

What if the windows on the Beemer were tinted, as would most likely be the case for a late-model?

LOTS of factors to think about......

That's my point. I did the speed limit down there and when I was on 84 and 95, where the speed limit was 70, I noticed PLENTY of people of all races speeding by me. But THEY all had NC, SC, or VA plates so *I* did the responsible thing and obeyed the law.

In Virginia, driving at the speed limit is often a sign of a drug mule trying to avoid the cops. Owooooo! :)

3-5 over is the safest except for South Carolina. They don't want to risk a radar calibration defense, and you're not being "suspicious" either.

Using a word you don't know how to spell without actually figuring out how to spell it or just using a different word.

It implies that your posts are not very well thought out.

fiogf49gjkf0d
Sometimes if you get hung up on details, you lose your place and the post becomes even LESS "well thought out" ... being anal is not a priority when you're trying to put a thought out there. reasonable folks can look beyond that and look into the thoughts being expressed even if they're less than perfect.

Too many anal people around here.

I disagree. If it's so difficult to keep track of your thoughts, then it's likely your thoughts are not very useful to others.

Pity those on iProducts with such tiny keyboards. You hear the click, you move on to the next letter because you heard something, and turns out it never showed up here. Shall we hang them?

I would love to know the answer from some black cops. This is my little amateur sociological experiment, I guess.

The question was posed as an single pullover however, you'd have to elaborate as to how one cop pulls over two cars at once. Not familiar with the procedure, the only lace they pull over multiiple drivers that I've ever seen is the Coxsackie radar trap.

You shouldn't have made such a big deal of it. That's what gets noticed. Typos usually fly right by around here otherwise.

I use an iPad a lot, and find screen calibration errors are actually fairly frequent. They result in gibberish posts you see here every now and then and some pretty wild typos. Overall, the tech has improved on them however, I remember not too long ago spending countless hours calibrating my Palm with that touch the center of the target app. Yikes.

It means you didn't put too much thought into the post because a small amount of thought would have allowed you to avoid using the word at all. I can think of numerous ways to avoid using "succumb" without using more complicated words and it doesn't require a lot of thought at all.
