But you're not worked up about Amanda's parents fleeing Brentwood "for a bigger home" in The Islips.How am I supposed to be worked up about someone else making a choice that affected only their life some 30 years in the past? Not only is it none of my business, it happened 30 years ago... I'm interested in having some passion about something, but it's pretty hard these days since there's not much I can do about anything at all--not even public transport. And let me tell you, immigration, race, and crime issues are more complicated than public transport--the constituencies much more fragemented including some quite unlikely ones having a position that entrenches them. There are some things that you and I probably agree that needs to change. How do we go about changing them with a coalition of two? |
