The First Amendment from http://www.aclu.org/united-states-bill-rights."Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petitition the Government for a redress of grievances." [my emphasis]. The ACLU and others have found amazing interpretations of this amendment. Many people also have an odd definition of "peaceable." |
