Haha, yeah, and we are luck to have Fire Island for our breakwater actually....And seriously, even though I got a slip on the South Shore this year for my boat, we still will probably trailer it to the Sound a few times to, as I also like fishing the Sound. One of my favorite spots is over by the Middle Ground Lighthouse, which is the halfway point between Long Island and Connecticut, although actually is in Connecticut. We usually get there out of Port Jefferson. Here's a photo I took of the Middle Ground Lighthouse from the boat last August:
