Yeah, it's pretty straightforward: Your risk of being ticketed increases with your speed. A little over the limit: minimal risk. A lot over the limit: more risk. Grace speed based on discretion of the officer. Get the wrong officer, no "grace." If police were regularly ticketing for 1 MPH over, everyone's eyes would be glued to their speedometer instead of focused on the road. |
