Drug dealing violence goes down to zero, which effectivley cuts crime in half (maybe even more). Regulate them, provide treatment, and deter kids from doing them. Think cigarettes. I think the less taboo they are, the less kids will do them.Second, I know gun control is a automatic loser in many parts of this country, but how about gun regulation? Think about it: Two handguns per household. That's it (except for special circumstances). No one under 18 allowed to carry guns. All gun owners require 20 yearly hours of gun practice and training. Only one gun can be bought per year, of any kind, per household, period. In future, all guns require technology where only registered gun owner is able to fire weapon via handprint/thumbprint recongnition. Also, laws like only being able to carry maybe 3-5 bullets on you and NEVER being allowed to shoot ANYONE running away from you and yours. So, in short, you can hunt, you can defend, but you can't go crazy. Gun running goes down to zero. |
