No angry tone at all. YOU TOOK it as an angry tone because of your own thoughts on "what I meant". The post was one of astonishment of the shear number of people looking to get picked up....not at the fact that "oh here are these 'mexican'" ingrates. The written word does not come out as meant, and the READER adds his own emotion to the written word, as there is no emotion in it like when someone talks. You are the one that made a light hearted post into something it was not. You're the one on the high horse acting like what you said and the way you said it couldn't possibly offend a non-Mexican Hispanic person reading the post. I never claimed that couldn't happen. I said in the FIRST response to you that that is not what was meant, but you insisted that it was, as of course "you know better than I" what I would have meant, as you for some reason predetermined to be offended at the topic for whatever reason. It was YOU that kept claiming something that wasn't there. |
