And Mexicans make the same assumptions like we (or at least I) do.That's good that you know this, but most people don't or care to know this, and simply brush them off as Mexicans. Out here if you dress like a gang member then that's what people will assume. I don't know about NYC, but out here if you are under 30 and wear too much blue, red, or purple that's what people will think. 9 times out of 10 that's right. No one dresses like a gang member unless they are one or they just want trouble for no reason. I understand where you're coming from, but to me, that's nothing less of bullshit. The color of my clothing doesn't and shouldn't say anything about my personality other than the fact that I like to wear that particular color. |
