Lott said nothing directly offensive, he simply praised a man the left hates, and THEY assumed that it was meant to be a confirmation by Lott that Thurmond's past policies were good.Distortion. Lott specifically praised Thurmond's presidential candidacy. He could have ignored that and picked plenty of actually praiseworthy things that Thurmond has done. |
