In what context could Thomas' comments not be construed as anything but hateful and anti-Semitic?Lott said nothing directly offensive, he simply praised a man the left hates, and THEY assumed that it was meant to be a confirmation by Lott that Thurmond's past policies were good. What the hell was he supposed to say? "Hey Strom, you suck! Happy birthday!" |
