I only "witnessed" the idiot ONCE ... back when he was on Headline and my 82 year old mother-in-law thought his show was entertaining on CNN. Only time I've seen him since was on Stewart and Colbert ... heh.I was witness to the "dumbing down of America" in the 60's. NONE of us had any IDEA that it could get dumber ... then I saw "Idiocracy" from Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead) and realized that Paddy Chievski's (SP) film "NETWORK" was only the beginning and an UNDERestimation of Newton Minnow's (FCC chair) estimation of just how stupid "America" could get BEFORE IM's ... But party ON, Garth ... at least out here in cow country, we can actually STILL complete a sentence without Sarah the soothsayer. :) |
