I believe the exits on I-278 are already numbered that way, starting in Linden, NJ. I used to wonder why the BQE had "Exit 34" or similar numbers. Then, the powers that be put numbers on the exits on the Staten Island Expressway, and I note that Lily Pond Avenue is #15, and the first exit in Brooklyn is #17.Looks to me that the zero mark is in Linden, like I said. |
