At that point even Lieberman as VP would've been a more sound choice. Anyone that had experience or at least was known to more ppl than an unknown would've been a better choice.Thing is I agree, McCain in 2000 would've been great, sadly he became too much like Bush 3 and that's another reason the key states voted Obama. Neither Obama nor McCain were my choices and it came down to which one would be less worse. Obama the unknown or McCain who would've continued Bush's policies to an extent. Well looks like it's 4 more years to find out if Obama is a savior or will destroy the country. At least maybe now perhaps the GOP will find the next Reagan or someone. |
