You want good factory jobs for schlubs who could barely graduate from high school? High tech products from high tech factories require skilled high tech employees.One of the root problems in this country is the failure of the school system. They function like a transit authority. Train can't make the station on time, so change the timetable. Hello. A passing grade is a passing grade given for work done correctly, neatly, and with thought and insight into the issues at hand. A failing grade means you don't know jack and should find a job sweeping floors. (Digging a ditch is now high tech, sorry.) Today's college degree is little more than what a high school diploma used to be worth. Boo Hoo..... ROAR |
