Apparently, after she got married my mother's longtime personal doctor advised her not to have children. He knew that she was not emotionally equipped to handle children. She didn't listen to him. When she became pregnant with my brother in 1961, he advised her not to take Thalidomide. Thankfully, she did listen to him then. |
