The fact is Goldwater got only 5% of black votes, culminating a move by African American voters who moved into the Democrat Party starting in 1933----and it makes no difference in your assertion since conservatives took over the GOP around 1962-63, and it had nothing to do with Rinos. Moderate, Rino, conservative, the fact is our party was literally poison to the blacks. So what I wrote is not only not completely false it is historically true. I taught US history in high school for 35 years and you are the first person to disagree with me on that historical fact.Look it up---and let me leave you with this. If my party wants to keep moving up in popularity with African-American voters it is going to have to work hard and support things that they do.....PERIOD!!!!! |
