It's totally fine.We face Life and death on its terms. Death is the great mystery. We never know when our number is up. I lost a family member last year myself. My dad's mother in law past away from COVID-19 complications,a heart attack. One thing I say to people is this. You have to stay prayed up. Constant communication with the Creator/Sustainer. You keep the lights on, you keep going with life. Taking each moment in , living and thriving. The Path you Need to walk will be given to you. I talk to people, offering assistance if I can Pointing them in the right direction of I can. As a care giver, I interact with patients all day long. I go from house to house, checking in Taking vitals, talking to them. I make sure to log each client into the HHC data base.. I pretty much take my job as seriously as possible. Sometimes, I'm the only visitor they have, and I sit with them as long as I can. I call the shut ins, make sure they are alright. I sometimes get them involved with an Adult Daycare Center, so at least they can get out and socialize with others several times a week. One thing. Don't stress over Tomorrow. Live for today. Tomorrow is never promised.Only Now is given. One moment to the next. |
