Re: Is There Any Chance the 2024 Presidential Election Result Will be Accepted?

You're confusing Trump with a non-existing general trend.

Every candidate except Trump in the last 148 years has accepted the certifications of the individual secretaries of state, as modified (e.g., 2000) by the state and federal court systems.

I don't expect 2024 to be any different.

If, for example, Trump wins the electoral vote and loses the popular vote, lots of Democrats will say this is unfair, but they won't say that Trump wasn't actually elected.

You may also get some individual denialism of state results, like the handful of Democrats who said that Ohio was rigged in 2004. But the Democratic candidate, if he or she chooses to challenge any results, will accept the decisions of the courts.

Trump, of course, will not accept his loss, if it should occur, and will keep on screaming denial even after he is convicted of his various offenses.
