Is There Any Chance the 2024 Presidential Election Result Will be Accepted?

I feel really hopeless about the upcoming presidential election.

Not only are two of the most polarizing candidates of recent times are most likely going to be the nominees, but no matter who is elected, someone somewhere will be screaming fraud.

I remember a time when Presidential elections were proud moments in American society, moments when we demonstrated to the world that democracy’s smooth transition of power based on the will of the people was evidence of America’s leadership. Now we’re no better than a banana republic, with every election result being blamed on fraud and theft. Terrible thing.
