How many Africans would have came here on their own?That would have greatly depended on US immigration law and anti-discrimination law over a 200 year period, if any. Post-Civil-War segregation and discrimination obviously limited the desirability of the United States for Africans. So much so that the Immigration Acts of 1917 and 1924 didn't exclude Africans the way they excluded Asians, clearly because Africans self-excluded. |
