He fomented that riot and he also had his henchmen engineer various plots such as the fake elector scheme and the entire basis for the objections to the electors that he knew were validly elected.A coup d’etat doesn’t necessarily involve a violent mob. The ur-example, the first event referred to as a “coup d’etat” didn’t. As I’ve now said many times, the J6 mob was NOT the main event. And I didn’t say he overthrew the government, I said he tried. Usually people who try and fail to ovethrow governments are treated as traitors and imprisoned for life, or executed. |
