It works both ways. The Republicans want these babies to be born but rant against welfare programs.If Georgia wasn't so conservative in the 80's, crime would not be so high in Atlanta. I'd say the reason Georgia is swinging blue in recent elections is that state did not have welfare funded abortions. One of the unintended consequences is this hurts Republicans in elections in that state. All the GOP is doing is fighting for babies to be born who will vote against them. |
