Nope; we are not 100 percent animal, mainly because animals cannot defy their instinct whereas we can make moral choices. And I'm not interested in the taxonomy of the left too much any more.What animal can shoot a gun? What animal can subsequently figure out that it might be a better way to catch prey than using teeth and claws? Back to chimpanzees: they can be trained to get addicted to nicotine, via smoking cigarettes. |
