Not a surprise. The objections have been thought quite likely since November 7th.And the commission does not change the nature of the objections. The objectors want a federal role in questioning the states' actions in choosing electors, despite the Constitution and the Electoral Vote Act of 1887 not providing any federal role unless the states fail to do their job. |
