When I bought my current house in May, 1984, I regretted it the first saturday night we were here. The noise from Islip Speedway was nerve-wracking. Fortunately, Islip raceway ceased operation in that year and now it's been relatively tranquil for the last 20+. The last thing we need is a raceway - unless you enclose it and sound-proof the building. |
