Bill... Astroland, owned by Alpert Family, and Deno's Wonderwheel, owned by the Vourderis family, are two separate properties. The Alperts are selling the property that Astroland is on to Thor. The Cyclone is not owned by the Deweys and is not on the Astroland site. It is owned by the City and the Alperts operate it for them. They will continue to operate the Cyclone. The Alperts may relocate some of their rides to another location in Coney Island.

These developments are further evidence of my theory that the destruction of the venerable, historic and beautiful Stillwell Terminal marked the end of Coney Island.
