I'm talking about benefiting the political tribe that represents rural areas, but not the country overall.In the short term, the Republicans in big cities would have a reason to vote, and there's likely a lot of them. In the long term, the positions the politicians take will invariably bend towards the will of major cities. Neither tribe will represent rural areas anymore. |
