Blocking immigration using a wall is immoral yet blocking immigration in other ways isn’t immoral? They are the same thing and morally equivalent to me. I would say that the “optics” of having a wall sends the wrong message since we are indeed a nation of immigrants. It could discourage legal immigration but that’s not a moral issue. |
