(and yes, I do have a problem with nazi being spelled with a upper cases n)Why? As much as I loathe and detest the Nazis and everything associated with them, it is still (grammatically) a proper name, and proper names get capitalized in English. Capitalizing the name of a group is not in any way an endorsement of them. (And yes, I know that the group's actual name for itself was NSDAP, not "Nazi".) |
