Statistically an incumbent that turned as few seats as Trump did during the midterms has an 8/9 chance to be re-elected for a second term.

With this field of candidates look for Trump to have a similar outcome as Cuomo - despite all the complaining about the incumbent by D and R alike, the opposing party will not put forth someone able to overcome the incumbent advantage, the incumbent party will not field a primary candidate that will make any headway, and the incumbent will win simply due to the opposition not bothering to show up.
