Please show me the provision in the Constitution or other federal law which prohibits the DOJ from indicting a sitting President or VP.

Spiro Agnew, Nixon's VP, pleaded no contest to tax evasion charges and resigned, after fighting the DOJ for months after he was indicted. There is precedent for theoretically indicting Trump.
