Earth Day began in 1970 by a hodgepodge of American environmental activists who established a day of national protest against pollution, polluters and for environmental protection. There was a time when there wasn't an EPA, rivers burned, trash was everywhere and the sky was brown over large swaths of the most populated areas of the country. In our times, it's looking like we're heading back to that. There is NOTHING "communist" about it. That needs to be stopped. |
