Their staff is trained to deny claims unless the applicant is practically on death's doorstep.I wouldn't go anywhere near that far. We have clients whose pension plans only grant a disability benefit if the participant qualifies for Social Security disability. And there are plenty of people who stay alive receiving that benefit from middle age to retirement age (65). On the other hand, a lot of claims get denied, so I wouldn't say it's easy either. |
