The point is that his airway whether it was forced shut or not wasn't constricted long enough to kill him alone

If that's true, why did the ME say manual asphyxiation was the primary cause of Garner's death? Yes, his size and health might have contributed to his death, but only insofar as these factors were aggravated by the fact that he was being choked to death.
