Three transfers, an interminable ride, and too many permutations and combinations for there to be a problem somewhere, preventing me from getting to work on time or at all.
If the 7 train derails, or there is yet another slow order on the Queens Boulevard line, or the Lincoln Sphincter is closed down for a terrorist investigation, or any one of a hundred other little breakdowns, multiplied by the number of transfers, and my commute is a wrap for the day. As it stands, it will take at least an hour and a half, if not two hours, for this whole commute each way, half of which will be waiting for the next vehicle, or walking to it to catch it. No thanks.

Well heck. How long do you think it takes me to get from central Suffolk County to Houston Street in Manhattan? And I have to deal with the LIRR, which stumbles from one catastrophe to another. Lengthy commuting times are pretty much unavoidable in the New York area, and in most other large cities too. Be happy that the cost of commuting from Queens to Weehawken would be a lot more reasonable than if you had to make a long ride on a commuter train.
