Perhaps, but licensure isn't "infringement".Quite a few cities require groups assembling peaceably to petition the government for redress of their grievances, to obtain a license or permit before doing so. No one says their free speech rights are being infringed. The government may even record the faces of participants in demonstrations, and they often do. The FOPA needs to be repealed. If people knew for a fact that their guns were traceable back to them, with legal responsibility attached, they wouldn't play so fast and loose with their guns. |
