If Bundy has financial documents prepared by a CPA that show he has little or no net worth (e.g., loans outstanding that equal or exceed the value of his collateral plus equity in the land and buildings), then he should qualify for a federal public defender.But bingbong was claiming that Bundy's net worth is significantly positive. So, under her assertion, that is how it works. I would expect Bundy's net worth is significantly positive, unless he is just incompetent. Lots of his fellow ranchers are still in business despite paying their grazing fees to the BLM. If Bundy can't make money while not paying grazing fees, he's even more of a fool than otherwise evident. |
