The difference between criminal activity denounced by society and thwarted by the government as best it can and activity endorsed and conducted by the government is vitally important. White people have never been enslaved as a race with the permission and approval of society as a whole. Meet Lovisa von Burghausen, a young Swedish woman taken as a slave in 1704 by the Russians after the sacking of Narva by Peter the Great. So in the time when America's Founding Fathers were alive, there were still whites owning other whites... She wasn't white. In 1704, the white race was only a few decades old at most and didn't exist outside of Virginia. |
