A religious organization with some very selective ideas about which mortal sins make you ineligible to march.

I've mentioned wondering whether they keep out heterosexual fornicators. I also strongly suspect that they don't keep out people who commit the mortal sin of not going to mass every week.

So can you honestly claim a religious exemption if you are selective about those religious beliefs you actually enforce?
